Revolutionizing our Acoustic Product Engagement and Driving Sales

Challenge

Acoufelt, a leading provider of acoustic solutions, faced the challenge of effectively showcasing its diverse product range and customisation options to designers and architects. The need for immediate, in-context visualisation was a key pain point, hindering the decision-making process and requiring significant time and resources for physical samples and presentations.

Acoufelt developed Ammersion, a cutting-edge AR suite designed to bridge this gap. Ammersion comprised two key components, AR Product Visualiser and

AR Product Visualiser

An intuitive mobile application allowing users to instantly place realistic 3D models of Acoufelt products within their actual interior spaces. By simply tapping on a product within the app, users could visualise it on the floor, wall, or ceiling, experiencing a real-time adaptation of how the acoustic solutions would look and feel. The visualiser also provided seamless switching between different products and access to Acoufelt's extensive colour palette

Virtual Showroom

An online platform offering a comprehensive digital representation of Acoufelt's entire product range. This virtual environment served as an accessible introduction to the breadth of Acoufelt's offerings and simultaneously showcased the capabilities of the Ammersion AR visualiser.

Implementation and Launch – Acoufelt implemented a multi-faceted launch strategy to maximize Ammersion's impact.

Trade Show Integration – Ammersion took centre stage at industry trade shows. The immersive VR experience of the visualiser became a significant draw, attracting attendees and providing a memorable and engaging way to interact with Acoufelt's products. Long queues formed as visitors eagerly donned headsets to experience the AR capabilities firsthand.

Digital Marketing Campaign – A targeted Electronic Direct Mail (EDM) campaign was launched, focusing on driving traffic to the Virtual Showroom and promoting the Ammersion visualiser app. The campaign highlighted the ease of use and the benefits of real-time product visualisation.

Sales Team Integration – Ammersion was equipped as a key tool for the Acoufelt sales team, empowering them to provide dynamic and interactive presentations to clients, eliminating the reliance on physical samples for initial consultations.

Results
Ammersion's successful launch yielded significant gains: a 17% surge in product interaction within the first week (driven by the EDM campaign), enhanced trade show engagement through its immersive VR experience, a 6% increase in sales, an empowered sales team with a valuable new tool, and a streamlined customer experience by providing immediate product visualisation.
